Enthusiast in Chief
Born and raised in Vermont, Christian first recognized his enthusiasm at the age of 15. After dabbling in cheap vodka and a brief stint with Bacardi, full-blown love affairs blossomed with Pabst Blue Ribbon and bourbons of all types. After high school, he left Vermont to spend five years in Portland, Oregon, learning a thing or two about psychology and—of course—booze. Education acquired, Christian departed the Rose City for the Bay Area where he developed a taste for Anchor Steam (with continued appreciation of bourbon).
Josey
Enthusiast in Chief
Josey has been writing since she could grip a pencil and drinking since an indetectable amount of booze poured from each bottle in her friend’s parents’ liquor cabinet was an acceptable cocktail. Josey has lived and drank and ranted in the Big Apple, the Rose City, and the Fog City. While she will always consider herself a whiskey woman, she’ll drink whatever you’re pouring.
Josey and Christian founded The Alcohol Enthusiast in spring 2010 to celebrate their preferred lifestyle of (mostly) functional alcohol enthusiasm.
