San Francisco summers are often the foggiest time of year, but that didn’t stop us from pretending it was warm enough to serve this refreshing bourbon drink during our first hosted happy hour event (held indoors).
2 oz bourbon (for our event, we used Maker’s Mark)
.5 oz lemon juice
.5 oz honey syrup*
1 dash peach bitters
Splash of soda
*Our syrup was a ratio of 3:2, honey:water. A little sweeter than your standard simple syrup and that warm honey flavor definitely shines through.
